Writing My First Blog
Why I'm starting a tech blog in the age of AI, what will make it different, and what I'll write about: software development, AI, and system design.
- blogging
- writing
- learning in public
Hello folks, on 07/11/2026 I am launching this blog and my personal portfolio site. I believe that sharing what you know with the world is among the finest contributions to humankind. I have around 2.5 years of professional experience in tech, and I intend to share the insights and knowledge I have gathered during that time with the help of this blog.
Who will read this blog in the age of AI?
Nowadays, we rarely use Google Search to understand any topic. All the information is available at our fingertips through ChatGPT, Claude, or any other LLM on a single platform. Google searches have already dropped by nearly 50%. So, who will read my blogs? This is not just a concern for me; it is a concern shared by everyone facing the same challenge.
I did not create this blog to earn money or attract visitors. I began it as a hobby to share knowledge with the world. More importantly, I wanted a resource I could use for revision or brushing up my understanding by reading it myself. Although someone might suggest using Notion or a similar tool, owning something personal is a far better choice. And with this, if I’m getting visitor traffic, then it’s a cherry on the cake 🎂.
What will make my blog different?
- I will focus on understanding concepts rather than memorising definitions.
- I will explain complex topics in simple and easy-to-understand language. Because, I will also refer to this blog personally for my revisions.
- I will share interactive demos/examples, something like the ones below, with the theoretical explanations.
- I’ll be writing my blog only about things which I have explored, implemented, and learned personally.
What type of content will I share on this?
I will primarily share insights on tutorials, artificial intelligence, software development, system design, emerging technologies, tool usage, building in public, and lessons learned. Basically, it will be regarding what I know and what I’m learning and sharing the same with the help of this blog. It will be a very fun and interesting journey for me.
Conclusion
This blog is my small corner of the internet, where I’ll learn in public and write down what I understand in a way I can come back to later. Even if AI can answer almost any question in seconds, I believe explanations written from real experience, with examples you can actually play with, still have their own value.
